A wonderful driver and guide – Roshan from SLD touts made our trip to Sri Lanka unforgettable

We just returned from an incredible family holiday in Sri Lanka and had the absolute pleasure of traveling with Roshan Gunawardhana of Sri Lanka Driver Tours throughout our stay. From start to finish, he was more than just a driver — he was a true guide, companion, and an invaluable part of our experience.

Our itinerary took us across the country, from Wilpattu to Nilaveli, Habarana, and Sinharaja, covering both the major cultural attractions and some relaxing time on the beach. Throughout the journey, Roshan was consistently polite, calm, and extremely attentive to our needs. He made every effort to ensure we were comfortable, informed, and enjoying ourselves.

What stood out most was how he shared insights about the places we visited, suggested local spots we would have missed, and tailored the journey to suit our pace and interests. And thank you Roshan for navigating the wild roads near Sinharaja late at night!

He was punctual, safe on the road, and the vehicle was always clean and well-maintained. Traveling with family, it was comforting to have someone so dependable and thoughtful. By the end of the trip, it truly felt like we were saying goodbye to a friend.
